Here, we carve out an understanding of your body through the lens of Chinese and functional medicine. We may look at ordering specific private health tests for you whilst also supporting you to self-advocate with your GP.
We operate by the belief that nothing is unexplained. We work with you to leave no stone unturned to reveal the answers to your hormonal imbalance, chronic pain or infertility.
This journey begins with the initial 60 minute consultation with Clinic Director + Lead Acupuncturist, Kimberley Shepherd, at our peaceful clinic nestled away in S11, Sheffield. Here, we deep dive into your current picture of health and health history to begin to piece together the complex jigsaw that makes you uniquely you. This information allows your practitioner to create your tailored health + treatment plan, which will be presented to you at your first acupuncture appointment, usually booked that same week or the following week. Here you will receive a simple, restorative acupuncture treatment to begin preparing your body for positive transformation.

From our analysis of 2025, Life + Lemons has a 61% conception rate. This has increased from 56% in 2023, and 59.6% in 2022.
This year we’ve also supported more same-sex couples, solo IVF journeys, and male fertility patients than ever before. In line with the previous years, we also continued to welcome and support patients from all walks of life—some conceiving naturally, others moving from natural conception to clinical fertility support, and many who had been through one or multiple unsuccessful IVF rounds before finding us.
